By helping you organize your information in an easy to follow timeline for your lawyer to follow.
My-Court-Case was created out of a need to help individuals minimize the amount of time their lawyer needs to spend organizing information supplied by their client. By allowing the individuals to do much of the organization themselves. Work that they are having to do anyway. So instead of simply forwarding emails, and typing up their story in word documents to be sent to their lawyer, where the lawyer is going to have to scan, and organize the same information in a manner that enables them to understand it. Why not have a system that does all that organization for you, presents it in a chronological timeline and builds an easy to follow storyline?
Create an account, and create as many cases as you want to track and manage.
For each case, you can add events with a detailed description of the event, along with the date of each event. The events can be categorized by the user, allowing for easy filtering and searching later on. Attach relevant documents, and media to each event, whether they be emails, PDF's, word documents, spreadsheets, photos, or video files.
Each document that contains text, is stored, with it's underlying text data stored in a searchable form. Allowing for searching within the attachments themselves, as well as the event details.
All events are able to be displayed visually in an easy to view chronological timeline, and able to be shared with their lawyer or any others you wish to share it with, where it can be made read only, or allow the user to make contributions or edits to the events.
Using the mobile application, you can view your cases and events. You can add photos, videos, and text message as well as create new events.
You can also forward emails from your primary email application, and send it to a special email address that is created specifically for the user for each case. Within the application you can see all newly submited emails, that are not yet assigned to any event, and either create a new event for each forwarded email, or associate them to an existing event with all related attachments stored and cataloged for easy searching later. You can also associate the same event to a different case if needed. This allows text messages and attachments to be easily submited directly to the case from the mobile app on the users phone.
